Born in Weston-super-Mare, Clare studied at Exeter University before taking up a teaching career in London and Basel, Switzerland.

During this time, she travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and America, extending her passion for working with colours in different art forms and evolved her own particular style of creating exciting and dynamic expressions on large canvases.

Each piece is a canvas of joy and energy which reflect her vibrant character and natural vitality.

At her latest exhibition in Switzerland, she was delighted when the actor Sir Roger Moore purchased three large originals.
