Michael Lythgoe

Michael produces most of his work in cedar utilising the grain structure. Piranha pine and Redwood are other species used. All work is finished using acrylic paint and sealed with several coats of wax. Michael has been creating bird and fish carvings professionally since 1988.

Inspired by the early North American decoys, his early work concentrated on realism and very fine detail but has now evolved into a style and form recognised engineer are clearly visible.
