Wolfgang Bloch

Born and raised in Ecuador, before relocating to the Southern shores of California, Wolfgang’s surfing experience was stripped to its most basic components and this is evident in his artwork today. Having moved from prolific graphic design into a world of subtlety, simplicity, and purity, his paintings incorporate photographs, paint and found objects that pique his artistic sensibilities; creating works of surf art that are moving, inspiring and thought provoking, often depicting stunning backdrops and line ups in completely original mediums, and medias.
